Be cautious of scammers when job seeking, as they often attempt to imitate employers with the goal of extracting personal information and/or money from applicants.
If you’re looking for a job, you should be wary of such scams. When engaging with Fabric, please adhere to the following tips to protect yourself and to ensure that a recruiting contact from Fabric is legitimate:
- Fabric will never ask you to pay a fee or make a purchase of any kind.
- Fabric will never send you an interview invitation via chat or social media.
- The easiest way to spot a scam is to check the email sender domain. If the domain is not from <name>@fabrichealth.com, it should be considered a scam. Fabric will never send you an email correspondence using an email address outside the fabrichealth.com domain.
- When you apply for an open position through Fabric’s careers site (https://www.fabrichealth.com/careers), you’ll be redirected to a job posting under the URL https://ats.rippling.com/fabric/jobs. All other job posting sites are not related to Fabric.
- Fabric will never ask you to submit personal data except via forms located on the domains listed above.
- Fabric utilizes Zoom for video calls. During the hiring process, we will never ask you to use Google Meet, Skype, WhatsApp, or any other meeting tools other than Zoom.
- Fabric will never insist that you act urgently within a very short time frame.
- If hired by Fabric, you’ll never be asked to send any sensitive personal documents (ID, banking info, tax information) via email - you will upload it directly into Rippling.
If you question the validity of a contact that does not adhere to the descriptions provided, please reach out to security@fabrichealth.com.
