At Fabric, we’re committed to expanding access to healthcare, making quality care more efficient and accessible for everyone. That’s why we’re excited to introduce several key updates to Fabric Virtual Care, designed to streamline care delivery and maximize provider efficiency.

With these new features and the integration of Fabric Hybrid AI, Fabric Virtual Care is easier to use than ever. It continues to evolve as a powerful tool for healthcare organizations to provide exceptional care faster and create more time for patients who need it most. In this blog, we’ll take a closer look at the latest updates to Fabric Virtual Care.

Our services leverage Fabric’s clinically validated, consumer-grade Virtual Care platform, ensuring seamless, reliable, and high-quality healthcare experiences that meet the evolving needs of diverse populations.

New Features in Fabric Virtual Care

Effortless At-Home and In-Person Lab Orders

Fabric Virtual Care now offers integrated lab testing, equipping providers to treat more conditions virtually and expanding patient access to convenient, high-quality care. Providers can easily add lab orders when needed, and patients have the option to complete lab tests from home via test kits or with in-person one of Fabric’s nationwide lab partners. Once tests are complete, lab results are instantly uploaded to the Fabric platform, allowing providers to review results, add detailed notes, and send prescriptions or care plan updates as needed.

Available lab tests include:

Optimized Symptom Search, Registration, & Condition Pages

We’ve redesigned the patient-facing side of Fabric Virtual Care to offer a modern, intuitive experience that’s fully customizable to integrate into your brand. New features include:

  • Advanced symptom search for quick identification of conditions
  • Condition-specific overview pages to help patients better understand their symptoms
  • A simplified registration and login experience to minimize barriers to care
  • An SEO-friendly structure that is fully indexable by search engines, making it easier for patients to find care

Seamless Integration with Epic & Oracle Health

The EHR is the center of your operation, and we understand the importance of that investment. Fabric now easily links with patients’ Epic and Oracle Health accounts to streamline workflows and improve care coordination.

Key integration features include:

  • Epic Integration with Hyperdrive: Sync patient data (demographics, allergies, medications, and MRN) and seamlessly drive workflows by connecting MyChart with Fabric. On-call providers can be notified of updates to the visit queue, ensuring they’re always informed of patient needs.
  • Oracle Health Integration with PowerChart: Sync essential patient data and document care within the patient’s chart. Providers can easily embed the Fabric web app into PowerChart for efficient access to all visits.

Both integrations enable providers to stay within their native EMR workflows, streamlining documentation, treatment plan creation, and care delivery efficiency.

Virtual Care Subscriptions

Virtual care subscriptions enables clients to create a new business model that extends beyond one-off visits to enable ongoing, proactive relationships between patients and providers—including concierge care that promotes patient loyalty, continuity, and improved outcomes.

We prioritize convenient access to care, which is why we’ve introduced a subscription-based virtual care model that brings consumer-grade convenience and continuity to traditional healthcare organizations. These enhancements enable health systems, payers, employers, and digital health companies to offer more personalized concierge care at scale—helping them expand access, build patient loyalty, and stand out in an increasingly competitive market.

With Virtual Care subscriptions, patients benefit from:

  • Streamlined, easy-to-use registration flows
  • Automatic, convenient recurring payments

By simplifying how patients engage with their healthcare providers, virtual care subscriptions foster stronger patient-provider relationships, drive long-term patient loyalty, and create a more efficient, scalable model for delivering care. By removing financial and administrative hurdles, this consumer-centric approach makes high-quality healthcare more accessible, familiar, and seamless—empowering patients to seek care when they need it, without hesitation.
